04 | Candle

Introducing Paro Home's 04 | Candle, a personal favorite of mine! 04 started off when I began trying to formulate a candle loosely inspired by Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy's style. I'm a child of the 80's / 90's era, and to me, she will always be iconic. I'm told she wore Egyptian Musk every day, which it turns out does NOT play well with others in a candle - but this really ended up being more of an homage to her style and memory.

I imagine the smell of a new suede coat whipping through the chilly air in Manhattan. Perhaps a little musk on the wrists, some amber perhaps. A hint of saffron in the air, and cedar branches from shops decorating for the holidays. Film cameras clicking from across the street. Steam rises from the grates in the road. This candle is a time capsule.

Each of our candles are made with the best and cleanest ingredients possible. Our fragrance oils are free of phthalates and parabens, and our wax is made from a proprietary combination of coconut, apricot, and soy wax. If you're wondering why - I'm so glad you asked!! Coconut & apricot wax combined achieves a 30-50% longer burn than soy alone. Even combining with soy, we still notice an insanely long burn time with our candles. This also reduces tunneling in your candles, wasting wax along the sides. There's so many good reasons to love our candles and I hope you do!

Candles are available in 13 oz and 10 oz, with a burn time of 75 hours and 60 hours, respectively. Do not burn unattended, and do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

For maximum burn results:

For your candle's very first burn, let it burn for at least 1 hour to prevent tunneling in future burns.

Place candle in a non-drafty area, and be sure to trim wicks to at least 1/4" before each burn. If you're noticing a lot of soot as your candle is burning, it's burning too hot and needs the wicks trimmed.

Keep your candles happy as they burn, and you'll get amazing results in your candle's lifespan!
