DIY: Honeycomb Shelves

This past week, Josh had an idea and went right to work on it. He designed some shelves for our super-tiny cabin in the shape of a honeycomb! What's so awesome about these particular shelves is they're totally reclaimed, re-used wood - he got a bunch of different old cabinet doors painted different colors from an old warehouse undergoing renovation (for free!) and I really love the way they turned out. I got to snap some photos in the process and thought I'd share.

**Since we posted these honeycomb shelves, Design*Sponge asked us to do a step-by-step tutorial for their blog. You can find all the info on making these yourself HERE!**

Sweet Belle, the farm dog.

And the final product!

I'm so proud of this awesome piece that Josh made! It's so sturdy and right now it's housing all of our library books, so they're not sitting around all over the place. This tiny cabin is gradually becoming our home!

*if you live in the WA area, Josh could make you something like this and deliver it to you! enquire for rates.
